Authors test design documentation and conducts functional, regression, performance and systems testing. *Requirements: * REQUIRED: - B.S. in Computer Science/Finance/related degree or equivalent experience - 5 or more years of IT experience - Competent to work at the highest Quality Assurance level of all phases of system testing (must have backend testing experience) - Experienced in the QA lifecycle - Proficiency in SQL (2 years experience doing queries, data manipulation, reading data models, navigating in relational databases) - Fundamental knowledge of Unix (i.e. logon, change directories, understand VI Editor) - Experience with Mercury Test Director, QTP, Quality Center, Load Runner - XML (preferably FIXML) experience - Experience in the financial markets industry - Ability to communicate clearly/efficiently with users, management and staff. - Ability to prioritize and coordinate across multiple departments *Skills: * Technical Skills: · XML concepts & structure, SQL a good understanding of complex joins and unions, UNIX, experience in multi-tiered architecture, QTP and LoadRunner · Business: Industry Experience (Derivatives, Risk, Collateral, Trading and Options/Futures experience a plus) · QA Knowledge (Advanced Level): Testing Methodologies, Creating Test Strategies and Test Plans, Create Testing Metrics, Requirements Based Testing · Leadership Skills: Project Planning experience, has worked independently on projects · Communication Skills: has experience in dealing with all levels of Management and Users, Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical users · Performance monitoring tools: Wily InterScope.
