Our consumers would like to just tell us what services then need and have us code to their rqmts without consideration that the services need to be used by the enterprise, therefore we have to keep the services loosely coupled and not cement our business process in technology. Systems Analyst (SA) – enables business process through technology. Turns requirements into specifications which are blue prints for the developers. Develops functional specification artifacts; 1. Use Case 2. Process Flow Diagrams 3. data sheets 4. invocation outcomes 5. helps if understand the development side; schemas + WSDL + XMLS · QA Relationship – SA needs to write test scenarios that the QA team can base their test scripts. · SOA experience is a plus. · *Need exposure to JAVA, WEBSPHERE (not Web logic), and DB2 (not Oracle) * *CRITICAL SKILLS: * Need enterprise application development experience, not just stand alone application dev.
