Position: Sr. SAS Consultant
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 6 Months
About the Job
* Manage the access, manipulation, analysis, interpretation and
presentation of information from both client internal and secondary data
sources based on customer requirements originating from client's Marketing,
Sales and Managed Markets areas for complex and business critical
deliverables?
* Perform complex ad hoc quantitative analysis utilizing methods such as
ratios, shares, time series analysis, frequencies, and cross-tabs.?
* Design a series of report formats for ease of interpreting
quantitative Marketing, Sales and Managed Markets information.
* Manipulate and integrate large data sets from multiple sources using a
variety of advanced programming skills in software applications including:
Base SAS, SAS Macros SAS access to Oracle, SQL, Teradata, Micro Strategy, MS
Access, and Excel
* Participate on project initiatives developing repeatable programmatic
routines in support of analytical applications in other MACS business areas?
Requirements:
Bachelors or advanced degree (Sciences, Business or Computing)
* 5+? Years experience in Pharmaceuticals or consulting?
* Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills?
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with strong customer
focus?
* Able to manage multiple priorities with a commitment to delivering
on-time and quality results required?
* Expert capability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple
sources.
* Must be able to design and produce reports using multiple tools.
* Experience with large data sets, >1Gig, performing complex
manipulations?
* Software expertise in Access, SAS, SQL, SQL*Plus, UNIX, Teradata, VB
and Excel
* Expert capability in database environments: Oracle UNIX, SAS UNIX and
related structures?
