Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle, UML Minimum of 2 years experience: Development in a UNIX environment (Solaris, Linux, HP-UX), Apache Ant, Applications development experience in a Client / Server environment. Service development using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Non-Technical Skills: A minimum of 5 years IT experience on multiple platforms/technologies Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities Strong verbal communication skills Strong Leadership skills Experience with the complete SDLC Ability to work well with customers Proven ability to work well in cross- organizational Teams, Ability to provide quality a on-time delivery' Ability to adapt to change Nice to have: Experience with Java 1.5 or later JDO and/or Kodo experience highly desireable. Experience with OO Analysis and Design Experience using Rational Rose, Clear Case and Clear Quest UNIX shell scripting Integrated Development Environment Eclipse, WSAD, RAD XML LDAP Code review and static analysis Job Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for being a Sr. Developer to perform significant design and modification work on the SAAS Schedule Loader in support of International Code Share. Participation in an on-call rotation approximately once every six weeks may be required. Team Information: The SAAS Support Team responsibilities include coordination with Sabre and Southwest stakeholders on all changes, managing the CM process, defining and managing releases, and providing support for the production system. As part of the teams' production support responsibility, management of the flight schedule in SAAS is required. The application used to update schedules in SAAS will require modification to support International Code Share, and this will be a key responsibility for this position.
