Responsible for creating a flexible application software design capable of supporting current and future business requirements. Provides the technical direction for all project team members, and has overall responsibility for the software development quality and implementation Required Skills: At least 3 years of experience in software architect role with a focus on Java and Oracle At least 5 years of experience in OOAD, UML modeling and Object Oriented Design Patterns At least 5 years of experience in J2EE design and development At least 2 years of experience in EJB3. Experience with JBoss Application Server is highly desirable. Must Have: Data Modeling, Oracle Data Base Design, PL/SQL programming Experience with business rules engine desirable (e.g. DROOLS) Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem solving and communication skills Experience in a consultative environment is required. Must have experience in managing expectations of difficult clients.
