Position: J2EE Developer Location: Concord, CA. Duration: 12 Months Consultant Role/Responsibilities on Engagement: Work at the direction of BoA core development team to further develop and continue supporting the OVSI infrastructure at the bank. Skills Required: Technical - required Java programming (JDK version 1.4) - proficient Java programming using the Eclipse IDE - proficient Understanding of Java web application development - intermediate level J2EE application structure and composition (EARs, WARs, JARs, RARs, EJBs, etc) - basic level SQL statement coding - intermediate level Oracle database - intermediate level LDAP - eg, SunOne, including using LDAP browsers to read and update SunOne and ActiveDirectory - intermediate level ActiveDirectory - basic to intermediate level. Including usage of ADUC. Use Telnet and FTP to access remote systems Technical - strongly desired WebSphere - basic to intermediate MS Exchange - basic to intermediate OVSI product: Experience with the HP OpenView Select Identity product Design, development and troubleshooting of external callouts Design and implementation of service workflows Design and implementation of notifications Understands the OVSI service model and components of a service Understands the OVSI resource model and how to configure an OVSI resource and related components (eg, mapping files) Understands the OVSI request processing model and different types of requests Ability to comfortably navigate the GUI Ability to use Oracle client tools to navigate and browse the OVSI database to support development and problem solving Communication Ability to verbally explain clearly technical problems and proposed resolution steps.
