Job Title: UI Developer with ATG
Location: Bothel, WA
Duration: 1 year
HTML dev with professional experience a must. Must have worked on enterprise
projects before, have excellent communication skills. The candidate must
consider themselves a front-end developer and not "both" a java developer
and a front-end developer. This is for the Premier Online Store.
The UI Front-end developer is passionate about working on an enterprise web
project that adheres to W3C web standards. He or she will work
collaboratively with software engineers, designers, product managers,
marketing and quality assurance engineers, focusing on the upkeep of our
product through clean and efficient web programming methods.
Required Skills/Qualifications: Must demonstrate development skills across a
range of technologies including:
. Strong cross-browser CSS and HTML/XHTML
. JavaScript (practical use of prototypes, JSON and AJAX)
. JSP using taglibs with minimal inline servlets
. W3C DOM methods and properties
. Strong creative problem solving and communication skills
. Subversion, CVS or other software repository system Desired
Skills/Qualifications:
. Experience with middle tier JSP development . Adobe Photoshop CS2
. Ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines concurrently
. ATG Dynamo taglib experience
. JSTL taglib experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop programmable optimized/cross-platform front-end code in XHTML, CSS
and JavaScript
. To connect with the user interface development community to track latest
trends and emerging technologies
. Have the ability to take page comps and turn them into fully-functional
pages within a short period of time.
This can include the use of Photoshop to optimize images for web
presentation.
