Qualifications
Requirements and Skills needed:
- Understanding SNMP MIB, SNMP tree structure and SNMP trap message.
- Understanding Syslog message and its daemon (syslogd and syslog-ng)
- TCP/SNMP/Telnet/SSH scripting using PERL/Expect/ and Tcl/Tk and its module
- Using NMAP and the Net-SNMP function on Unix/Linux
- Sys-admin for Solaris 8/9, RedHat Linux AS3/4, HP DL380 and Sun V-series servers
- Understanding SQL syntax for general database such as Oracle and application database.
- PHP/XML/Apache/Web programming
