*Location: *New York City *Duration:* 6 months *Start: *Immediately Requirement · 5+ years of exclusive experience as a GUI/Core Java developer ((SDK 1.5/1.6 - including Collections Framework, multithreading) · Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, patterns and analysis. Front end design and development using Java programming. The person will be responsible for setting the GUI development framework for the application and its integration with existing server side framework. He will be the technical architect for the framework that will eventually be used in rebuilding various Equities and Derivatives applications. Experience working at a financial firm with a background in Cash and program trading is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate should be experienced in implementing high volume, low latency and feature rich configurable GUI design.
