Title : AIX Sys Admin Location : Itasca, IL Length : 1 Year To 3 Years Perform design and planning activities on Sun Solaris and IBM AIX UNIX Systems. This will include designing and documenting client solutions as well as providing guidance and procedural direction. Work with field level UNIX personnel providing technical expertise and guidance. Skills and experience: 1. Intermediate - Solaris and AIX UNIX operating systems configuration Oracle 10g w/ ASM product knowledge Hitachi Tagmastore and brocade knowledge. Netapp NAS knowledge. Solaris 10 w/ zones and ZFS 2. Intermediate - Jumpstart, Wanboot, NIM, kickstart, ignite Tivoli monitoring 3. Intermediate - Shell (i.e. KSH) scripting knowledge C++ and PERL scripting Sun and IBM High-Availability knowledge desirable 4. Intermediate - Good organizational skills. Team player. Strong written and oral communication skills 5. Advanced - Solaris and AIX performance tuning.
