Client : XXXXXXXXXXX Duration : 3+ Months, Location : Chicago IL We have a direct client here in Chicago (downtown) that needs 9 C++ Programmers. They are a boutique hedge fund/investment firm that is starting a huge project that involves a complete redesign of their core market information application. The team of Programmers will do full life cycle work setting up data feeds in a C++/Linux environment. Required Skills: Ø C++ Programming Expert Ø Unix/Linux platform Ø Threads, Sockets, Hash Tables Ø Extensive data feed/data handling experience Ø Unit testing Desired Skills: Ø Experience working on financial (trading) exchange feeds Ø C# (for front end) The interview process will be phone first, then an in-person interview prior to decision. All candidates will be subject to a criminal background check, credit check, and education verification prior to starting. The project will last a minimum of 3 months with extensions possible and likely. We prefer Chicago based candidates but if someone is nearby and can get here for the in-person interview without any cost to us then I will consider them.
