Client : XXXXXX Requested Position Title : SharePoint Intranet Branding Specialist Positions : 1 No of submittals : 3 Location : Sacramento, CA CANDIDATES NOT MEETING THE MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Contractor will be expected to work well both independently and under the guidance of a project lead to design, develop or integrate, and test *Microsoft Net based* Master pages and templates and themes for *Microsoft SharePoint, MOSS 2007*. The successful Contractor will need to work effectively with District developers and analysts to design and develop solutions and proactively seek out help as needed to accomplish project goals as scheduled. Contractor will create templates and themes using Master pages and cascading style sheets to support the District's Intranet upgarde project. Contractor shall perform thorough testing to ensure all work meets specifications/expectations and create/update detailed support documentation for all templates and themes. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years web applications development/support experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, flexibility to work well as part of a team or independently, and have a track record of successful project work on various web development efforts in a corporate environment. -Web Development Skills/Experience required in: Microsoft Net Framework 2.0+ including ASP .net C#, XSLT and CAML. Candidate must have minimum of two (2) years experience developing/supporting SharePoint branding. Thorough knowledge of SharePoint publishing sites and their structure. The ability to create and modify branding of publishing sites using page layouts and pages libraries using CAML to retrieve content and XSLT to present the content leveraging content types. Thorough knowledge of SharePoint collaboration sites and their structure. The ability to create and modify branding of collaboration sites using master page, template and theme development and deployment. Skinning of web parts to meet design specifications. Integrating custom web based applications and web services with SharePoint applications and sites. Knowledge of SharePoint Team Sites and collaboration technologies. -Experience with SharePoint Search optimization. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS SharePoint Development skills/experience required in MOSS 2007 development and support including web site creation and configuration, Site and Content level ACLs, and integration of other applications with SharePoint. Should be familiar with: creating custom features, site templates and InfoPath forms. Additional SharePoint Development skills/experience. Integration with Documentum, Web part development, Integration of SharePoint. *EMC Documentum experience a plus * Electric Utility experience preferred Experience with building secure multi-tiered internet web applications in a load-balanced and fire-walled environment is highly desired.
