Please respond to [email protected] *Hyperion / Brio Reporting* *Position:* *Torrance**, CA*** *Duration: 3 Months*** *Description:* - We are looking for Hyperion BI Developer candidates with experience in JOOLE coding. - Need to have Excellent Communication Skills. *Performance Metrics:*** - Strong Hyperion BI (Brio) report and Dash board development - Strong Oracle SQL tuning abilities - Strong Java scripting ability to customize dash boards - Ability to work with the team under tight time lines* *MANDATORY SKILLS:*** *** Immediate start date ***** *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * * - Primary responsibilities include review of requirements to ensure understanding of business needs, reports design, development, unit and system testing, migration of reports/dash boards to production. - Translate complex business needs into effective and high impact reports. - Should have solid hands on expertise in *Hyperion BI or Hyperion BRIO (not Hyperion Planning),* Report and dashboard development using Meta topics and OCE. - Will need to optimize report execution times using appropriate oracle database hints etc. Solid SQL knowledge is required. - Should have a good blend of technical, business and analytical skills. *TECH SKILLS REQUIRED* - Strong report building methodology and best practices is expected from the candidate. - At least 3 years HANDS ON recent Hyperion Brio (not planning) experience. - Demonstrated ability to model and design complex new reports and dash boards as well as modify existing dash boards. - Strong JAVA scripting experience to create complex dash boards - Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and troubleshooting. - Understanding of START schema in DW. Experience in using multi-dimensional data models (star Schema, slowly changing dimensions , fact tables) as the basis for the report development. - Financial/lending industry experience is a plus. *DESIRED SKILLS:* -Should work on site at Torrance. Telecommuter not preferred. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong team player with a can do attitude. Will need to interface with ETL teams effectively -Should be a self starter with a high degree of accountability to meet deadlines. -5+ years experience in using multi-dimensional data models (star Schema, slowly changing dimensions , fact tables) as the basis for the report development.
