Position: Oracle Application Consultant Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 2 months JOB SUMMARY The Senior Oracle Developer, as a key member of the Applications Development team - Partner Integration, will be responsible for Level 3 support and development and delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite software components including PL/SQL concurrent programs, web services, B2B integrations with Customers and Vendors, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Forms. Development may also consist of delivering web applications via OAS and/or Oracle Portal. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively translate business requirements into functional specifications, lead in technical design/architecture and complete development tasks on time and with quality Develop B2B integration connections to Forsythe Vendors and Customers. This will leverage Oracle BPEL/B2B, mapping, connectivity testing, and Oracle EBS as the data source/target. Develop and maintain end-user documentation for both technical and business users Create and execute required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing is accomplished on all new and changed components Deal with multiple high priority user support issues and problem tickets simultaneously EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Must possess a proven ability to participate in projects in a team environment and ensure completion of tasks and the overall project on time and with high quality A minimum of 5 - 7 years experience developing solutions with Oracle databases and PL/SQL is required. 3-5 years delivering web applications with Application Server or Portal experience is required. Oracle BPEL and B2B eCommerce experience using RosettaNet and/or XML is required. OAS, Oracle Portal, and Java experience are a plus. Exposure to one of the Oracle applications Financials, HR, Projects and Supply Chain product families is preferred. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills Good adaptability/flexibility and teamwork Ability to think creatively and implement ideas regardless of obstacles Should be detail and results oriented and possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability Internet architecture/development and relational database design experience a plus SKILL REQUIREMENTS Excellent communication and professional presentation preferred.
