Position: C Developer (10 yrs C programming experience, 7 years of SQL experience, 7 years experience in a Sun Solaris environment) Location: Nashville, Tennessee Duration: 6 Months Position Description: - Develops and installs programs to support general business applications running on Sun Solaris platform - Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products - Using current programming languages and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications - Monitor and support production systems - Participation in on-call rotation will be required Top 3 Hard Skills: - 10 years minimum C programming experience including embedded SQL - 7 years of SQL experience preferably in an Oracle environment - 7 years experience in a Sun Solaris environment Top 3 Soft Skills: - Good communications skills - Ability to mentor and lead other Analysts - Able to recommend and follow processes Preferred Education: - Advanced degree and/or demonstrated business and technical experience required - Certifications: N/A Special Skills: - Technical leadership - Software Development Life Cycle using industry recognized tool set - Demonstrated business experience - MMIS interchange experience.
