Job title : Sybase DBA with Upgrade Experience

Our direct client State of Michigan is in need of SybaseDBA. Absolutely No layers.
Establish a step-by-step plan for the testing, migration, and optimization of the update from ASE 12 to ASE 15.
Implementing partitioning, encryption, and optimizing operations after the upgrade of each system.
The upgrade plan should include all environments: test, QA and production.
Senior classification requires Database Administrator capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Resource should have these additional skills sets/experience:
* Min 8 years of experience in Sybase ASE database administration including performance evaluation and tuning.
* 5 years of experience developing, analyzing and tuning SQL statements.
* Experience in upgrading between Sybase versions
* Experience with ASE 15 upgrades and partitioning preferred
