*Description: *
SEST – Server Engineer Support Team – Operational support team focused on
issue remediation and return to service for line of business applications
and services. This position is designed to be a level 3 engineering
resource, staffed 24 X 7 in the Garden City NOC. This position will work
adjacent to and in conjunction with a level 3 network engineer that is
providing similar functionality focused directly on the Cisco network.
Primary Role - Providing 24 hour level 3 engineer coverage and level 3
operational safety net in support of IOP
Secondary Role - Enhance current NOC functionality - Instant access to level
3 resource. Execute approved (late night) change control tasks that would
otherwise be performed by a project focused level 4 engineer.
The server support team will be comprised of mid - level 3 engineers
experienced in the following disciplines.
Biztalk
Exchange
Active Directory
Citrix
Web Infrastructure
Work experience requirements
- 4 or more years experience with one of the defined core technologies.
- 4 or more years experience with technical writing and expert level
ability producing structured documentation using Visio and Word.
- 4 or more years experience working in a disciplined, enterprise level
datacenter environment using ITIL framework.
Education requirements
- *Appropriate, engineer level certification – MCSE, Citrix CCEE /
CCIA, Vmware, BizTalk,*
