Experience with clinical data Project/Position Description and Responsibilities: Persons selected for this position should have a solid understanding a relational database environment, including table and field relationships, primary and foreign keys, table constraints, and how to join data using SQL. The primary function of this role is to develop Informatica ETL maps with a variety of transformation types. Key strengths should include the ability to follow company-defined Informatica naming standards as well as possessing very strong analysis skills to be used in troubleshooting map issues of new ETLs or making changes to existing ETLs. Developers should be able to work independently and aggressively with minimal supervision to meet project plan timelines. Developers are expected to understand unit and system level testing, be able to write new scripts according to current examples or understand necessary modifications to existing scripts. Additionally the developer will be making updates to existing validation documentation, such as Requirements, Design, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and Test Summary Report (TSR). This person will be responsible for regularly communicating their progress to the project manager, as well as any issues to the appropriate team member or project manager, as appropriate, in a timely manner to eliminate project constraints that would interfere with the project timeline.
