Position: SAP Basis Administrator Location: Tallahassee FL Duration: 12 Months DESCRIPTION Maintaining the SAP enterprise architecture of our Client and provide technical support to the IT related operations and maintenance support to the SAP Basis team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES . Provide after hours support . Identify changes or additions needed to the current architecture to best support . current and future business application needs . Participate in the introduction and integration of multiple new technologies on all . system platforms . Perform system and client copies . Perform system patching . Apply OSS notes as needed . Performs other related duties as required Position Requirements and Technical Skills: MANDATORY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE . Four years experience in SAP basis administration . SAP experience in a UNIX (preferably HP-UX) and Windows environment. . Ability to solve problems, both technically and operationally. . Experience with SAP Netweaver . Advanced knowledge of SAP R/3, CRM, ERP, BW and E-Portals . Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in general . Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Services Architecture in particular . Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing . Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, as well as work unsupervised when needed . Able to teach and share technical knowledge . Ability to map business processes to technology - particularly SAP technology . Knowledge of the SAP IT Practices / IT Scenarios and how to map those to the Department's business processes . Knowledge of the SAP products Solution Manager . Knowledge of the Computing Center Management Services (CCMS) . Knowledge of the System Landscape Directory (SLD) . Knowledge of the SAP Enterprise Portal architecture and administration . Hands on experience with SAP system patching (executable upgrades) . Hands on experience with SAP system and client copies .
