Job title : Oracle DBA Location : DE (Local Preferred) Contract Length : 3+ Months Consultant must be available for in-person interview Rate: 28-33/h Max Description: DBA activities, including handling of pager. Off hours support, monitoring and improving Database performance. As a Oracle database administrator, you will work in Oracle version 10.x providing logical/physical design support including backup/recovery. You will be responsible for upgrades, performance monitoring, installations, managing replications, diagnosing system problems, disaster recovery testing and maintaining user accessibility. You will also be responsible for DDL/DML code promotion. You are expected to carry the on call pager. Qualifications: .Minimum of two or more years of experience with a Oracle Database version 10.x and above. .Two years experience in performance monitoring and tuning of databases and sql queries. .Experience with PL/SQL and sql coding. .Experience with automation such as shell/db scripting. .Experience in OLTP environment and code promotion. .Experience in RMAN a plus.
