Position: SAN Admin with Strong FICON Experience Location: Dallas TX Duration 6months Storage Engineer Dallas TX (specifically Irving, TX) (can come from anywhere, as long as they are able to get to Dallas for a face-to-face interview and relo on their own dime (basically an all-inclusive rate). Client will not pay any face-to-face interview or relo expenses. FICON experience is the priority. Job Overview: . Strong FICON, Cascaded FICON skills (deploy 24 DCX's: all have FR4-18i for extension, eight will have large scale local FICON switching for storage, another 8 will have large port count for local FICON switching for tape . Strong FOS/DCX skills (Web Tools, CLI, SNMP, User Admin and Security, Fabric Watch) . Strong 7500/FR4-18i extension skills for FICON (also small PPRC configurations) (needs to know how to configure XRC and FICON tape extension and network design, i.e.: TI Zoning, FICON prams, etc) . At least the basics with DCFM, familiar with FICON wizards, Zoning for FICON and TIZones, Phone Home . Over the period of Brocade would need to TOI on DCFM, DCX, FOS, FICON Management with the customer Nice to have skills: . Edge 3000 / Spherion 4500 (for TrueCopy extension) .
