Strong problem analysis and resolution skills. Individual must have a good understanding of enterprise technologies such as: security, network, databases, integration, and application technologies for distributed systems Solid communication skills. Ability to work and communicate both written and verbally with developers, architects, project managers, business and QA analysts. Candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the WAS 5.x or later platform and supporting technologies such as JSP, JNDI, JAXP, JMS, JDBC, CMP. Candidate must have experience consuming WebServices and implementing Web Services in a J2EE container. Candidate should be familiar with popular open-source tools and toolkits such as Eclipse, JUnit, Log4J, Spring, CXF, and Ant. Candidate should be familiar with Relational Databases such as Oracle 8i or SQL Server 2000. Familiar with SOA concepts and technologies: ESB, Registry, Repository. Must have extensive experience with several software development lifecycle processes. Must be able to create and analyze UML artifacts which document software system.
