Hi,
If you have the perfect match for the below requirement, please forward me their most updated resumes along with the pay rate and contact information. Please respond to [email protected] Position: Business Objects Lead Developer Location: Denver, CO Duration: 6+ Months Rate: BEST RATE Try submitting LOCALS or candidates around CO!!! Job Description: Client has purchased BOBJ (Business Objects enterprise suite) from SAP. They have some of their own people as well as contractors working on implementing in. It is installed, and has multiple users working on it and doing tasks. The reality is that they need a high level consultant who has lived and breathed an implementation and knows the whole process/needs (but they do not want to pay SAP consulting rates). Client has people with expertise in building the universe, have report writers, and have a system admin setting up the servers and security. All of these people are much siloed in their knowledge and are unable to see the big picture and work through problems. They need someone whose knowledge encompasses the whole project and can fix problems and deliver direction/leadership. They would also like this person to be a 'doer" and step in if needed to help gather business requirements and be able to drive them into technical requirements, can create reports, understands the universe/cubes. Also, this person should be able to analyze what they have done so far (instillation, security, reports, and servers) and see if it is set up in the best possible way. This project is just beginning, and they feel it is not going well. Contractor should have been through full lifecycle implementations and be able to share their expertise. Below is some of the overview they sent to me: 1.. General application technical guidance 2.. Create a requirements template that will be used for determining environment requirements and tool configurations 3.. Assist with gathering the end user requirements for determining environment requirements and tool configurations (using the template described in task #2). 4.. Define the hardware configuration required. Prepare the hardware architecture diagram. 5.. Assist with software installs in the test & production environments. Review the install in pre-dev and dev to determine if we should reinstall or if minor configuration updates will resolve our current issues.
