SQL Server and DB2 experience (1 of 2, at least) is also desired. Environment is unforgiving of errors and mistakes, as these can easily cause production outages. Need strong command-line orientation, Remedy, HP OV, OpsWare, DB Artisian, and Toad are tools employed. Oracle RAC, ASM, versions 9i through 10g are supported, Veritas, Data Guard, raw file system knowledge and experience is strongly desired. * *Seeking only senior DBA's experienced in unforgiving production environments; DB2 / SQL Server / MySQL experience is also needed. * * * *Problems are diverse, the most complex, and resolution requires advanced troubleshooting techniques involving complex data analysis. Diversified and complex duties requiring an extensive knowledge of a particular field, the ability to determine the appropriate course of action based on complex and competing issues, the use of ingenuity and judgment to deal with issues not easily evaluated.
