Please respond to [email protected] *Sr. Dotnet Developer with WPF Contract: 3-6 months (possible extension ) Location: Portland, OR ----Only locals to OR & WA** * The person in this position is expected to: - Provide leadership in design techniques, best practices, and advanced methods for software design, development, deployment, and maintenance for .NET applications, focusing specifically on WPF concerns. - Lead the design and development of an application architecture for WPF. - Ensure that development, testing, deployment, quality assurance, quality control, and maintenance efforts can be transitioned to the technical team. - Provide communication and coordination between several diverse working groups. - Functions as an SME/subject matter expert in the area of Microsoft .NET design and development, providing training, mentoring, and support to the technical team. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - Proven experience in application architecture, developing and applying WPF. - 5+ years in software development - 2-3 years in a technical lead role. - 3-5+ years experience in .NET with a focus on C# and WPF. - .NET framework, patterns and practices - Developing applications for web and client environments - ASP.NET, XML, WPF/Silverlight - Microsoft SQL Server tools: Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, and Profiler with a focus on T-SQL. - Object-relational modeling and mapping (ORM). - Working knowledge of web services and service oriented architecture (SOA). - Working knowledge of software quality assurance practices, including automated builds, deploying assemblies, web distribution methods, content control and deployment testing. - Developing unit tests. - Configuration management tools and bug tracking tools: VSS, Elementool or similar. - Working in an Agile environment. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Regards, John || Phone: 916 646 2080 Ext 212 || Fax: 916 646 2081 || Email: [email protected] || Website: www.key-soft.com || Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
