Please respond to [email protected] *Weblogic Portal Admin* *Location: Austin, TX-----Locals Only* *Duration: Long-Term*** *Must have Web Logic Portals within a government healthcare enterprise data center. * *REQUIRED SKILLS: * The candidate will perform the following types of tasks: - WebLogic server and WebLogic portal architecture and administration involving Installation, Configuration, Tuning, and Deploying applications on WebLogic server and portal Versions 8.x 9.x & 10.x. - Document, diagnose and correct problems that occur within installed WebLogic applications. - Provide on-the-job training for AITC Web Logic server and Portal administrators supporting assigned applications. - Respond to Callback and serve as the initial point of contact for system failures, and ensure and coordinate the resolution and correction of production failures. The candidate shall become familiar with and abide by the AITC’s callback procedures. These procedures will be provided to the contractor upon request. - Develop scripts in WLST, Jython, Python and ANT scripting to automate and monitor WebLogic routine tasks. - Configure WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, Load balancing and fail over support. - Configure, administer and use Computer Associates Introscope J2EE performance monitoring. - Document WebLogic best practices. - Document operational steps and practices necessary to perform the assigned administrative duties. *Additional specific skills will include*: - Strong technical background and experience related to the administration/architecture of BEA WebLogic server and portal, versions 8.x, 9.x, and 10.x . - Experience in WebLogic automation utilizing WLST and Python. - Experience with Computer Associates/Wily’s Introscope performance monitoring application. - Experience in Tuning and Deploying Web Logic server and portal clustered applications. - Experience in Web Logic best practices. - Expert knowledge on distributed systems and the support of highly distributed deployment J2EE servers. - Experience in configuring WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, Load balancing and fail-over support. - Linux (Red Hat) and Solaris experience. - Knowledge of Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates. - Experience in profiling Java applications using tools such as; Jprobe, OptimizeIT, etc. - 8+ years of application administration experience.
