Please find the requirements currently open. *Systems Engineer with EMC Networker Background, Unix and Break/Fix experience Location: CT Rate : $40/hr MAX They must have EMC Networker Background, Unix and Break/Fix experience. REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge of Windows and MS Office - Knowledge of Veritas NetBackup and/or EMC NetWorker backup software - Detail oriented and accurate/precise Optional: - Knowledge of HP Service Desk - Knowledge of EMC Documentum Records Manager - Experience working in a regulated environment RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor and check the backup jobs and follow up with server administrators on failed jobs. - Recycle tapes within the software to allow repeated use - Move tapes in and out of the tape libraries as required - Extract monthly backup tapes from tape libraries for offsite storage and enter them into our Records management system for shipping offsite - Verify information on data recovery request forms and perform data recovery jobs on Windows servers. - Add or remove servers from backup configurations as requested by server and application administrators - There might be some additional work related to the backup environment as time allows. * * Please respond with Resume, Rate, Current Location and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
