* * *Web Services/Web Objects Contractor* *6 Months* *Location: Portland/vancover Area* * * * * *Essential Functions - Major Responsibilities*** · Research, design, develop, debug, test, and integrate server based web service software for consumer electronic multi-media audio/video products · Develop viable system level proposals for server software designs and maintain responsibility of them to functional, product ready form · Prototype and development of user interfaces for web based servers. · Proven skills in complete software life-cycle, including requirements definition, system design, testing and development · Proficient in web services programming languages and paradigms, including Java, Web Objects, Servlets, Tomcat, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, AJAX xCode, and Xserve · Document systems for use by others and for technology transfer to Japan Some domestic and international travel required. Must be able to work extended hours. Must be able to sit at desk for extended periods of time.
