*Please Respond to* [email protected] *Title: QA Tester W/ Cache Testing EXP* *Duration: 12 Months* *Location: Omaha, NE*** Needs 6 QA Testers for our financial services client in Omaha, NE to assist in our client's development of enterprise software applications. These individuals will work closely with the Development and Quality Assurance teams to create, integrate, package and release state of the art software. The primary responsibility of this position will be to improve the quality of development code prior to QA release (unit test, integration test, test plans, etc.) *JOB DUTIES:* - Create, analyze, and execute system-testing requirements. - Analyze, interpret, and approve business and technical requirements. - Analyze, interpret, and review design specifications. - Create test plans and test cases. - Execute test case scenarios. - Create specifications for test data/test environment. - Configure/setup test environments. - Utilize defect tracking system and bug reports. - Schedule, integrate, and utilize manual testing, as needed. - Prepare rollout/implementation timelines, procedures and specifications. - Perform problem solving analysis and root cause for system functionality challenges. - Participate on continuous quality assurance process improvement efforts. - Support and provide value added inputs in evolving QA team, including improving processes, procedures, and standards. - Create and update test databases, defect database, plans, schedules, and scripts. Candidate will develop a complete understanding of the functionality of TD Ameritrade systems. - Test all new and existing online systems including front and back-end trading and clearing systems. - Accurately identify and communicate bugs and systems enhancements to the development teams. *EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:* - Three or more years of software testing experience required. - Extensive knowledge of Equities and Options Trade Clearing systems required. - 1-2 years experience testing systems written in InterSystems Cache required. - Experience testing projects to support OPRA's Options Symbology Initiative strongly preferred. - Experience with Quick Test Pro or ITKO's Lisa preferred. - Knowledge of HP Quality Center preferred - Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player. - Ideal candidate will have, use and understand LINUX, UNIX, JAVA, C, C++, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML and XML. - Have a good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
