Position: SSRS/BO Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 6months Yrs of Experience: 3-5 years Job Description: The Finance organization is in the process of enhancing its reporting capabilities. There are a number of upcoming projects to expand the data warehouse and the related reporting. The reporting includes both Microsoft Reporting Services for standard reporting and Business Objects for ad-hoc reporting. This position will participate in the development and support of the new reports. This resource will need expert SQL skills, familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional data models, and experience with performance tuning with large data volumes. Experience with MSRS Report Designer is required. Communication skills will be critical as this resource will need to work extensively with reporting users and other technical teams. This position has the potential to be a long-term role with responsibilities supporting production and in future projects. Comments: Required: SQL, MSRS Report Designer Basic Qualifications: . Ability to develop/troubleshoot SQL at an expert level . Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data models . Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, specifically Report Designer . Ability to address reporting performance issues against a large data warehouse . Experience with applications running on SQL Server and Oracle Platforms . Ability to effectively prioritize activities and focus team efforts based on priority . Proven ability to work in a team environment to solve complex problems . Excellent communication skills, both written and oral . Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills Desired Qualifications: . Experience with Business Objects reporting, specifically Business Objects XI Desktop Intelligence .
