Dear Partners,
 
I have the following immediate need:

Build/Automation Engineer

Location: San Jose,CA
Duration: 6 months

Locals ONLY

 

Looking for someone to do the following automation and scripting work:

- consistent system image in the lab (Solaris10/x86; work is mostly post install scripting/pkging)
- build, package and deploy vendor software
- handle automation tasks (builds, benchmarks, unit tests, code scanning for defects)
- help with the Clearcase setup (strong preference but optional skillset in the end)
 
Ideal candidate would have expertise on the following:

- Solaris x86
- Building and packaging open source software: GNU software, perl, python, hudson...
- Ability to learn and deploy and automate vendor software: Coverity, Purify, Purecov...
- Scripting languages: bash, perl or/and python (pref is for perl)
- Decent communication & documentation skills
