BUSINESS ANALYST_CONTRACT NEGOTIATION/MANAGEMENT
Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and experience in drafting and negotiating business terms and conditions (contracts) for the purchase of IT Hardware, Human Services Software, Telecomm and goods and services supporting the IT network. Experience in accomplishing Procurement and Project objectives in a rapidly moving environment. Examples included
Provide a synopsis of the contract and those provisions the contract owner should be aware of to effectively manage the contract and supplier. Administer the contracts for compliance and renewal. Provide expertise on contracting knowledge to functional areas by mediating and advising contract owners on any contract issues. Manage tasks required to provide a structured process for acquiring technology products and services ensuring consistency in supplier selection including qualification of suppliers through a due diligence process of financial and other evidence of a supplier's viability. Assist IT subject matter experts in administering a Supplier Quality Program/Supplier Evaluation Process that includes the Sourcing Management Procurement (SMP) Process used by IT procurement. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with assistance as may be required from client's Legal Department
1. Execute contracts per established client's IT procurement policy
2 Provide research support through various tools such as Gartner and/or Meta Group.
3 Manage contracts as assets.
4 Validate funding for contracts costs
5 Ensure all status and updates are captured in IT procurement database every week.
6 Be aware of new laws and their impact to contracting issues (e.g. HIPAA.)
