If you're looking for a place to put long-term roots down, consider GSG. We were seriously considering moving, but decided that we loved Boston too much. They are rather picky about who they hire - personally I think this is a Very Good Thing - but I got the impression that you'd be taken care of if you meet their requirements. They were very good to us during the interview process.
Just may apply there, being originally from the Pittsburgh ares, moving back there would mean being close to my family and a few old friends. Very reluctant to leave Boston, but it is worth considering now that I've heard that GSG is a good company.
