Qualifications: * Able to install, configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot one or more of these UNIX/Linux operating systems: o RedHat o SuSe o Debian o Solaris o Mandrake * Able to install, configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot one or more of these UNIX/Linux servers: o DNS (Bind) o Mail (sendmail, qmail, postfix, or lotus domino) o Proxy (squid) o Firewall (ipchains, iptables) o Database (MySQL, Postgres, IBM DB2, or Oracle) * Knowledge in one or more unix scripting languages: o bash o perl * Skill in c/c++ programming is an advantage.
