I would like to post the following consulting position located in New York, NY: Studio in a School, a non-profit arts education organization with a staff of 100+ artists and serving over 150 NYC public schools, is currently looking for a consultant to maintain/update our intranet. This database houses all of our site contracts, invoicing, artistic staff records, site information, and administrative forms. Qualified person should have some experience working with content management systems and/or database-driven sites and experience with non-profits is preferred. They should have an intermediate level of experience (2+ years) in html/xhtml, css, javascript, php, and a basic understanding of mysql. Some experience in image-rendering (Photoshop or the like) a plus. Duration of consulting is long-term, with a bulk of the work to happen in the immediate future as the system needs updating to serve our organization's growing needs. Work is not in-house, but may require coming to local office for occasional meetings to update staff.
