Full-time On Site -- No Telecommuters/Remote Work Please (NYC) Must be highly proficient in: * Linux/Unix (FreeBSD emphasis) * Bash or other scripting language knowledge a must * Version control systems (SVN emphasis and CVS) * Apache administration (virtual hosts, mod_rewrite, configuration) * PHP and MySQL * Attention to detail, even slightly obsessive (but not in a weird way) Bonus points for: *Drupal experience *Load balancing, multiple server management *DNS configuration Daily Responsibilities: *Managing version controlled code between development, QA and production servers *Writing and executing scripts and utilities for deployment of new artist websites *Collaborating with IT groups to optimize server configurations You will be setting up development environments for PHP and HTML/CSS developers, and QAing their work. ***** On site in NYC, full-time/benefits.
