Job Description: The Marketing Communications department, a very lean team that is responsible for producing and maintaining Platform-A's internal sales communication site and external trade marketing site. The Marketing Communications Programmer/Analyst will responsible for developing and supporting innovative technical functionality for the internal website (AOL/Sales) and other key communication platforms. This position will report to Marketing Communications Technical Director. Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate for this position will focus on maintaining and enhancing web, search, database and digital asset repository functionality within the framework of the TYPO3 content management system currently in production. This person will be involved at all levels in the implementation of a given project including gathering requirements, design, development, system integration, preparation of test data, testing and debugging, preparation of documentation status updates and training, when required. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. This candidate will need a Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of programming experience in PHP, Perl, SQL and Unix Shell. This position is about working as part of a small team to solve problems so the ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively, identify areas of improvement, generate and implement creative technical solutions and get results. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelors Degree. 3-5 years technical experience. Programming Experience in at OO PHP, Perl, Javascript, SQL ( MySQL 5 ) Shell(sh/csh/ksh), Perl, C.
