PHP/LAMP Web Applications Developer Large Multimedia company with several Internet properties in the Alexa top 100. We are constantly thinking of new concepts to develop Internet properties. Most of our properties are based around online communities. We have a corporate infrastructure on the cutting edge of technology. We hold several patents and copyrights associated with our Internet properties and technology. This is a very fun, fast-paced, high energy environment. Responsibilities shift frequently and the focus is on results through quick, clean development. Must be comfortable with fast and frequent change as well as have the ability to adapt quickly to those changes. Also, as our development groups are specialized and focused on various projects; you will work within a small team to design and build innovative ad serving solutions that will utilize Dart Enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES: Solution Development and Delivery: * Understands technical and functional design requirements. * Creates prototypes for client engagements. * Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions. * Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions. Project Execution: * Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules. * Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards. * Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively. CAREER PATH CORE COMPETENCIES: Communication: * Promotes active listening with team members. * Contributes appropriately to conversations. * Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging. Programming Languages: * Intermediate to advanced PHP development experience (preferably in Web2.0 environment) * Intermediate to advanced LAMP development experience * Intermediate to advanced Java and Java Script development experience * Intermediate to advanced experience reading and writing Cookies * Creates effective CSS stylesheets. * Reads and understands XML schemas. Relational Databases * Understands basic relational database concepts. * Possesses demonstrated work experience with at least one relational database management system. Other * Experience or willingness to learn doubleclick Enterprise Architecture * Understands client server and internet systems architectures. * Demonstrates familiarity with object and component methodology and technology.
