The newly formed NYC innovation group at MyStrands is seeking a
talented senior web engineer to join the NYC office. We are an
Internet personalization company [1], with a recent $50m investment
and $12m sales in 2007, [2]. The project will be developing novel
mechanisms for a number of blogosphere platforms. We are actively
seeking web engineers, mainly back-end work but some front end, with 2
to 3 years of proven experience in:
- HTML, DHTML, Javascript, Ajax, XML
- LAMP (PHP, and optionally Python)
- Exposure to blogging platform programming (LiveJournal, Movable
Types, Blogger and WorldPress)
- Project management principles and tools
We are looking for engineers who understand and have passion for the
culture and technology of the web and want to be part of a fast
growing and important company.
The position will be in Manhattan (Tribeca), with a competitive
compensation and options, together with a full benefits package (401k
and full health [dental, vision and medical] plan for you and your
partner). The position will involve minimal amount of travel to
Barcelona, Oregon and possibly Helsinki.
