Established travel website is seeking an experienced, energetic web developer with strong PHP and MySQL skills to help in the aggressive expansion of our site. This dynamic position includes direct involvement in our expansion plans as well as development and maintenance on our current site. This is a full time on site position. US residents only, please.
Requirements: * PHP (OOP) * CSS, HTML, XML * MySQL 4 (5.x experience a plus) * JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML * Strong knowledge of current web standards & browser/platform compatibility issues * Basic server management (Red Hat) * Basic Windows networking skills * SEO Experience a big plus * SOAP/REST/Web Services a plus * Oracle Experience is a plus Responsibilities: * Support and advise in all areas of web development * Participate in overall creative process - design (not graphic) through deployment * Basic server management * Able to gather business requirements given a proposal to create new functionality. * Able to maintain basic network support for internet, computers, and printers.
