Greetings All. My company is seeking a Web Developer, Part-Time with the requirements listed below, to work on-site. We're located in Hauppauge, NY, (Long Island).
Web Developer (part-time) ---------------------------------- Position Requirements :: Required: -- High School diploma or GED; and has or is pursuing an Associate's degree in computer science or related field; and has received a passing grade in the following college classes: HTML, PHP and JavaScript; ; and has developed interactive web sites that access back end databases either commercially, personally, or as a part of college coursework. Preferred -- Has or is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; experience using and developing relational databases; familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques; experience with Apache and IIS Web server configurations with integrated Zend PHP environment; knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, Telnet, SSH, SSL and SMTP.
