Required skills & experience: * 4+ years of server-side PHP/MySQL development experience agency experience preferred. * Expert knowledge/experience with MVC Framework (i.e. CakePHP, Symphony, CodeIgniter). * Strong knowledge of object oriented programming. * Knowledge installing, configuring and maintaining LAMP packages. * Experience in use of version control systems (e.g. SVN). * Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing); experience and comfort interacting with clients at senior level. * Proven ability to monitor workload, self-manage time/tasks efficiently, and work on multiple projects at one time. * Use of best practices with HTML, CSS, JavaScript a must. Responsibilities * In coordination with internal project staff, identify functional limitations, and design, develop and Q/A server-side technology. * Work with project management in defining technical requirements for projects; create documentation for server-side implementation. * Provide reasonable and accurate time estimates for development. * Coordinate with technical partner agency or in-house developers to integrate site with client-side technology if project requires.
