Job Description:
As a Junior Support Developer you will play a key role in the
production of Saber
Seven Technologies. Direct responsibilities will include the delivery
and testing of
dynamic content to both public and internal web systems as well as the
Saber
Seven data stores. This position will also assist with documenting
testing
requirements for web interfaces based on new or preexisting
specifications created
in conjunction with the Senior Interactive Producer and Saber Seven's
Information
Architecture team, specifying the data exchange format with other
constituents,
and providing the implementation of content delivery software.
As Junior Support Developer your responsibilities may also include the
documentation, implementation, and testing of interfaces with external
service/content providers. You will work closely with the other
members of the
Technology Team to ensure that web content delivery features will be
compliant
with coding standards, pass all testing standards and leverage
existing code
resources whenever possible.
Functional Areas:
PHP development experience
• Using classes and functions
• Integration with Template Engines
Java experience
• Javascript
• AJAX Concepts
Other desired attributes:
* Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (crossfunctionally
and interdepartmentally)
* Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and time
management skills
Relevant industry experience preferred
