NorthPoint Solutions is a premier full-time employee based technology consulting firm is seeking for Sr. PHP programmers with Drupal experience and Sr. Open Source Architect/PM candidates with great analytical and communication skills to join our growing NY team. Our Senior Consultants and Project Managers play a significant role on all of our projects which include familiarity with all aspects of SDLC and multi-tier technology including desktop, web, and database. Constructing full project plans for multiple resources including estimating timeframes, dependencies, mulit-resource plans, reconciliation. You also work closely with NorthPoint Project Managers to guarantee successful delivery of the work and growth of the account and learn to resolve client issues and understand when to involve NorthPoint Project Managers. NorthPoint's Content Solutions Practice focuses on the following * Web Content Management & Document and Records Management * Digital Asset Management * Workflow and Collaboration Management * Search engine Optimization (SEO) Strategy and implementation Technology expertise * PHP, J2EE, Ruby, ASP.NET/C# * Cake, Smarty, Symfony, Spring/Hibernate, MVC, EJB3 & Rails * Drupal, eZPublish, Joomla, Alfresco, OpenCMS, Interwoven, Vignette, Ektron, Sitecore * Lucene, Google, Endeca, Fast, MS Index Server * Drupal, Flux, Pluck, Community Server, Ektron Our clients Time Inc, Foxnews.com, Viacom, News International, BBC, Rodale, BET.com, Pearson Publishing, HFMU.S., Parade, Economist.com & Bloomberg Qualifications * Solid Sr. Open Source Architect/PM experience with Project Full Life Cycle * Object Oriented developer with PHP 5.0, Drupal 5 or 6 database and distributed computing experience & Theming * BS in Computer Science & Information Systems * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Content Management applications * Understanding and knowledge of web development and content solutions * Experience within the Media or Publishing industry is a plus * Experience with ECN's and caching strategies is a plus * Experience using Linux & XML is a plus * Experience deploying web infrastructures is a plus This is a full time employment opportunity with NorthPoint Solutions.
