Description Senior PHP Developer (Multiple Openings) =============================================== Guidepoint Global is seeking Senior PHP Developers to join its top-flight web development team. Our web development team is a highly collaborative organization consisting of engineers with the highest levels of technical depth, programming skill and a passion for quality. Requirements: * Working with or co-authoring large scale(at least 30KLOC) web applications * Building high traffic public customer-facing websites * Advanced Web and SQL Programming * PHP5, OOP, Advanced Structured Programming * OO JavaScript (jQuery/MooTools/etc) * Caching at all layers on n-tier applications * Systems Architecture * Experience with large OO Open Source projects i.e. Frameworks, CRMs, ERPs, CMS * Experience with PHP libraries i.e. PEAR, PECL, pdflib, gd, etc * Security know-how: XSS, SQL Injections and other web application vulnerabilities * SVN or other Version Control Pluses: * Calendar/Scheduling web system development experience * CRM system development experience * C * PHP module/extension development experience * AJAX Requirements Requirements: - LAMP (3+ years) - Expertise in Configuration Management (Change Management best practices and automation, Source Code Control, Deployments, Builds) - Strong Linux skills (command line, scripting, administration) - Experience working with a production environment with zero or very minimal downtime - Strong work ethic plus ability to multi-task - Excellent communication skills Strongly Preferred: - B.S.
