PHP Web Developer needed for fulltime, onsite employment. This person should have 3 -5 years experience and will consider young developers with a good portfolio.
Location: NYC Qualifications: - PHP 5.2 - PHP 5.3 - Joomla! 1.0.13 - Apache 2 - MySQL 5 - VirtueMart 1.1 (a plus) - strong html/xhtml/css hand-coding (no wysiwyg, no dreamweaver), cross-platform compatibility (code needs to work on firefox, safari, IE6+, etc). - ability to translate photoshop designs to css/html - strong javascript coding (AJAX, jQuery, Mootools ) - strong PHP/Mysql coding, experience with joomla (modify current components/modules or create new ones) - passionate about/ on top of new technologies, new ways of coding, etc. - basic photoshop skills (slicing, resizing, saving for web, basic retouching) - social media experience (facebook markeup language) a big plus - flash programming (actionscript 2& 3) a big plus - strong troubleshooting/testing capabilities - self starter - extreme attention to details Please contact pe...@mapssg.com
