Our client is a premier full-time employee based technology firm seeking hands-on Sr. Open Source Architect/PM (PHP/Drupal) and Web Application Development skills. Their growing Content Solutions Practice which caters to a growing list of clients within the Media, Financial, Publishing, Entertainment, Health industries in New York City. They are seeking talented candidates to continue their steady growth. The successful candidate must have great problem solving and communication skills, act as a resource for junior developers, and be comfortable in a hands-on capacity at all levels of the design, development, testing, and deployment cycle in an agile mindset. All candidates must possess a strong foundation in computer science and have demonstrated a proven track record of sound code design, reuse, and maintenance. Ideal candidates possess end-to-end knowledge of the content management and web application space including performance and scalability design and tuning, data migration, SEO strategy execution, CDN implementation, metrics and third party web services integration, and general knowledge of open source products and frameworks. In addition, the successful candidate will have expertise in general system administration in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, database administration and tuning, and web server configuration.
