My client is a Manhattan-based, boutique, social-mobile developer. We are developing a massive social game for Facebook and are looking to add a Lead Software Engineer / Technical Architect to the team. We are in the process of raising funds for the project but would like to start interviewing, and get to know the candidate since he will join the core team, and not only be in charge of designing the game architecture and scalability but also do the hiring for all technical positions and manage the dev team. This senior position is based in Manhattan and is a contract to hire with equity in the game project. The Lead Software Engineer's role is to assure the successful execution of the game. This person should have deep technology knowledge and be able to evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for the delivery of the game. He should be able to make technological assessments and evaluations on key points of redundancy across systems and human capital planning.
