My client is looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to join the fastest-growing parenting magazine online and offline with 4 million uniques. Launched in December 2006, my client has a National Magazine Award nomination for Best Overall Website and a Folio magazine award for Best Online Magazine. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, can apply this knowledge to build out exciting web products and features, is comfortable in a small team setting, and is a strong communicator, particularly with non-technical staff. The candidate's first project will be responsible for working closely with an outside agency and internal staff to help lead migration of content from disparate systems to the WordPress platform. Requirements/Duties: * Comfortable in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) * WordPress plug-in and theme development.
