POSITION: We are looking for an entrepreneurial lead developer/architect in New York City. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN EQUITY-ONLY POSITION PENDING FUNDING.
COMPANY: We are a real-time social shopping startup featuring great deals on fun things to do around town. We'll be launching in January and are seeking to expand our team with a lead developer/architect interested in driving innovation in this rapidly expanding segment of the consumer market. Specifically, we are looking for someone that can fill or grow into a C-level position with us. We have an accomplished team and a heavy-hitting board. RESPONSIBILITIES: - ongoing development of core platform, web features and creation of API to support mobile development - managing on-site and off-shore development resources - contributing to product development and strategy QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years experience building scalable web applications in PHP/MySQL using LAMP arch/ZEND framework - experience with cross-platform, browser compliant HTML and CSS (HTML5 and CSS3), Javascript, AJAX, JSON, XML, and JQUERY - attention to user-experience, browser consistency and usability - ability to meet deadlines - proactive, creative and possess a sense of humor - prior experience in e-commerce is a plus APPLICATION: If you're interested (or just curious), please get in touch with Ted at hir...@gomigo.com.
